Skills and requirements

  • Relevant kitchen, service, hygiene, supervisory, or hospitality experience may be useful.
  • Grade 12, Professional Cook Training Certificate and recent, related experience of six (6) months or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Certification in First Aid and Food Safe 2.
  • Valid Class V Driver's License.

Candidate fit

  • Pace, food quality, hygiene standards, and reliable teamwork.

Additional role context

  • Completion of Provincial Violence Prevention within three months of employment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
