Our client, is in search of a Controller to join their team for a 12 month contract. Lead and mentor a small finance team or support staff, providing guidance on best practices in accounting, reporting, and use of financial systems.

Own the full month-end close process for assigned contracts, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Preparing timely and accurate financial statements and management reports, ensuring alignment with corporate accounting policies and CPA standards.

What needs to be in place

• Candidates in the final stages of CPA completion may be considered with strong relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a Controller, Contract Controller, or Senior Financial Analyst role within transportation, logistics, trucking, or a similar asset-intensive environment.
