Commodity Manager

As a Commodity Manager in Supply Chain, the work centres on liaising with suppliers at all management levels to drive improvement. It would suit someone who can bring ownership, clear communication, and practical organisation to the role.

Be a part of high-level activity and collaborative environment supporting the continuing growth in our manufacturing operations as part of the Commodity Management team. Contributing to business area and stakeholder functional strategies via specific commodity strategies.

What the role carries

Liaising with suppliers at all management levels to drive improvement. Managing and monitoring the supply chain and supporting the drive for business growth, efficiency, profitability and intercompany relationships. Evaluates the challenges faced by the organisation and the supply chains and takes action to mitigate risks and to develop opportunities.

What the role depends on

• Experience in Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Procurement, Commodity and/or related field.
• Related degree/MCIPS or equivalent.

Practical details

• Strong contract management experience including negotiating complex non-standard agreements.
