Coffee Process Operator
Coffee Process Operator focuses on unload, store, open, and dump green coffee beans into the receiving silos.
What the role involves
- Unload, store, open, and dump green coffee beans into the receiving silos.
- Ensure the proper quantity and type of green coffee bean is always available from the silos.
- Set-up and safely operate packaging machines including completing start-up checklists.
- Unload finished product and raw materials using forklift.
- Inspect and receive incoming deliveries, including completing In-bound checklist.
- Follow all Health and Safety, GMP and food safety policies and regulations reporting any deviations to the Supervisor.
Skills and requirements
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) is required.
- Proven track record of reliability and safety.
- 2 or more years of experience with production and packaging in the food industry is strongly preferred.
Confirmed role details
- This recruitment post is for full-time role based at our Manufacturing facility located at Ancaster, Ontario.
- The incumbent shall be on an Night shift schedule starting at 10:00pm until 6:30am.
