What the role involves

• Maintain discipline on board and make several stops to pick up and drop off children on your bus.
• Transport school aged children to and from school.
• Ensure the safety of children when boarding and un-boarding the bus and when crossing the street at the bus stop.
• Ensure discipline onboard the school bus.
• Keeping mandatory reports up to date (daily logs, timesheets etc.).
• Carry out the daily inspection of the vehicle prior to leaving the yard each morning.

Skills and requirements

• Possess a good sense of responsibility, organization, and orientation.
• Have a driving record with no demerit points.
• Possess a valid »G » Class Licence or equivalent, at least 21 years of age and be able to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s Class “B” Licence through our training program.
• Must reside in Ontario.

Confirmed role details

• Up to 40 hrs paid training @ $17.60 Hr.
• Medical Exam fees and B Licencing fees reimbursed.
• Vulnerable and Criminal Background Check fees reimbursed.
• Other related courses and training as required.
