What the role involves

• The output of this process is recommendations for Capital Project work leading to Project Management, Engineering Design and Construction Management roles.
• Completes site visits at client real estate locations and performs building component identification and condition evaluation.
• Completes reporting using BGIS software for use in RealAsset – our BGIS developed Asset Management software.
• Provides recommendations and cost estimates for building envelopes, components and systems repair or replacement for inclusion in the capital budget plan.
• University or college diploma in relevant technical field such as architectural, civil, mechanical electrical engineering, building science or building engineering.
• Entry level position but 1-3 Years of relevant work experience would be an asset.

• The Building Condition Assessor I is an entry level position to the BGIS Professional Services team.
• The Professional Services team is a multi-disciplinary group of engineers and technical staff that provide service across BGIS Accounts.
