  • The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, physically fit, have intermediate to advanced mountain biking skills and be comfortable working in an outdoor mountain environment.
  • Come join our team and enjoy perks such as employee events, food and beverage discounts, and much much more!You Will:Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staffPerform detailed trail inspections, observe and note deficiencies, areas of potential hazard or improvementComplete required trail maintenance in an efficient and effective manor using a variety of tools and equipmentAssist with trail design and construction following industry and resort standardsAssist with equipment and tool inventory, maintenance and storageMaintain records, logs, and assist with accident investigationsRide mountain bikes within resort policy perimeters; including managing speed, choice of appropriate terrain for ability level, maintenance of personal equipment, and wearing of safety gear (full face helmet, body armor, appropriate footwear, gloves)Safely operate company vehicles and equipment within company policies.Assess risks and hazards on the mountainAdhere to company policy as it relates to your job and conduct while at workHave a high level of willingness to participate in department training and required tasks proving ongoing commitment and increase in skill level and abilityHave the ability to take initiative in developing work projects and perform duties independent of direct supervisionKnow and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee HandbookKnow and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management ProgramKnow and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work ProgramsPerform other tasks and duties that are applicable You Have: The physical capability and reliability to work 10hr days in all weather conditionsA strong commitment to safetyIntermediate or higher mountain biking skillsHand tool equipment operation experience (Pulaski, shovel, weedwhacker…)Previous Chainsaw experience (an asset, although training will be provided) Small to medium machine operation experience (an asset, although training will be provided) First Aid Certification (an asset)S-100 Fire Suppression Course (an asset)Work Safe Chainsaw Operators Certification (an asset)Compensation and Benefits:Competitive wage: $19.00/hourMountain access perks: Staff receive an
