What the role involves

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a float to transport equipment.
• Ensure safe and proper loading and unloading of heavy equipment from the float.
• Advise the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Protect and promote the interest of this company in all matters and to take actions as required to satisfy such responsibilities.
• Ensure safety of fellow employees.

Additional role context

• We are currently looking for a Class 1 - 4 Axle Float Driver to join our operations out of Bedford, NS.
• Hours of work are 12-14hr shifts and may require weekend/overnight work.
