Assistant Custodian focuses on will assist with the cleaning duties of the facility, which include floor care, waxing, cardboard, washrooms, garbage, outside & lunch area, and other responsibilities.

• Will assist with the cleaning duties of the facility, which include floor care, waxing, cardboard, washrooms, garbage, outside & lunch area, and other responsibilities.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision, save the other custodian(s) and our Evening and Overnight Fill Crews and Management team.
• Our systems and processes will ensure we are the destination to equip our customers with everything they need to enjoy the jobs and joys of life in Victoria.

Skills and requirements

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.

Confirmed role details

• Part-time Assistant Custodian required for Canadian Tire Hillside.
• Additional shifts at our secondary location are also likely.

Additional role context

• Starting wage range: $17.85 - $19.25.
• Will be in the evening (after 4:00pm), for 6-6.5 hrs/day, Friday - Tuesday, with some flexibility.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
