Accounting Manager focuses on overseeing the flow of financial and operational data between the accounting system and related business platforms.

What the role involves

• Overseeing the flow of financial and operational data between the accounting system and related business platforms.
• Managing HST filings, WSIB reporting, and coordination with the external accounting firm for year-end and corporate tax compliance.
• Leading a swift and accurate month-end close process.
• Maintain internal controls that keep the books clean, audit-ready, and compliant with GAAP standards.
• Report meaningful discrepancies directly to the owner.

Confirmed role details

• Administer the company health benefits programme.
• Manage confidential employee documentation, including job postings, forwarding applications to hiring managers, and preparing and securely filing employee contracts and records.
• 3+ years of progressive, full-cycle financial accounting experience, with a proven track record in financial reporting, cost control, or process improvement.
• Experience in construction, trades, or B2B businesses is strongly preferred.
