Accounting Clerk
Accounting Clerk focuses on processing credit card transactions and staff expense claims.
What the role involves
- Processing credit card transactions and staff expense claims.
- Assisting with payroll by collecting/validating timesheets and maintaining records.
- Manage petty cash, and post transactions.
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and basic accounts receivable tasks.
- Supporting month-end close through data entry, reconciliations.
- Maintaining organised financial records (electronic and paper).
Skills and requirements
- 00 - $33.57/hour, based on experience.
- Certificate/diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in accounts payable or finance administration.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel) and ability to learn accounting/payroll software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Payworks).
Confirmed role details
- Gold River, B.C. - Onsite (vehicle required).
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, every other Friday off.
- Full-time | Permanent.
