Accounting Clerk focuses on processing credit card transactions and staff expense claims.

What the role involves

  • Processing credit card transactions and staff expense claims.
  • Assisting with payroll by collecting/validating timesheets and maintaining records.
  • Managing petty cash, and post transactions.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and basic accounts receivable tasks.
  • Supporting month-end close through data entry, reconciliations.
  • Maintaining organised financial records (electronic and paper).

Skills and requirements

  • 00 - $33.57/hour, based on experience.
  • Certificate/diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in accounts payable or finance administration.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel) and ability to learn accounting/payroll software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Payworks).

  • Gold River, B.C. - Onsite (vehicle required).
  • Full-time | Permanent.

Additional role context

  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, every other Friday off.
