• In this role, you will work closely with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop tailored academic plans and offering support to ensure their success.
• Advise students on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies.
• Assisting students in creating individualized academic and career plans aligned with their goals.
• Support services, and transfer opportunities.
• Provide information on college resources.
• Monitoring student progress and intervene with support strategies when needed.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Academic Advising, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in academic advising or student support services.
• Strong knowledge of academic programs, degree requirements, and student development theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations.
